Advise employee that all sexual partners should be tested and treated appropriately, even if they do not have symptoms of in- fection and to abstain from sexual contact with any previous sexual partner until he or she has been treated. Advise employee to be tested regularly for gonorrhea if there is sexual contact with more than one partner. Discuss benefits of using condoms during sexual intercourse to prevent STIs. Refer to personal health care provider or local health department for diagnosis and treatment. Advise employee of possibility of co-infec- tion with HIV and recommend testing of employee and all sexual contacts.
