Follow-up Actions ● Discuss importance of eye protection. ● Provide care as needed (per ophthalmologist). ● Assist with return to work. ● Conduct worksite assessment to identify potential hazards and pre- vention strategies. Determine severity of injury and stabi- lize employee. ● Assess injury and obtain brief history. ● Place eye cup over affected eye to prevent further damage to eye orbit. ● Arrange immediate care by ophthalmologist.
